Lost or stolen card?
If your VISA Credit Card, Check Card or Cash Card is lost or stolen, the easiest and quickest way to block it is via our Mobile Banking app installed on your iPhone or Android device. Cards can be frozen temporarily (if the card is simply misplaced) or blocked permanently with or without a new card ordered.
If you do not want to use the Mobile Banking app, please call us during normal business hours at (425) 643-3400 or toll-free at 1-800-848-0018.
After business hours please call 1-800-228-9901 and the system will provide you with instructions.
Traveling with Your Visa (Tips & Info.)
Of course, you are going to use your Visa credit or check card while you are traveling—especially internationally. However, identity theft and stolen card information are a reality; therefore additional safeguards are put into place to help protect you and your money so you can enjoy your trip:
- When traveling, let us know when you’re leaving, how long you will be gone and the countries you will be visiting. Not only will this help us determine if your transactions are actually being done by you, but we will also have an opportunity to make sure you understand how international purchases work when you are using a debit or credit card.
- It is also helpful to provide us with contact numbers to reach you while you are traveling.
- Always take more than one form of payment with you when traveling—some countries have transaction limits or even blocked activity due to a high volume of credit card fraud in those areas. Having more than one option to pay for things, ensures your ability to access your funds.
- Don’t keep your cards in your wallet. Also, keep a record of your card numbers, expiration dates, the phone number and address of each issuer in a secure place (like the hotel safe).
